Mamiya-Sekor SF C 150mm f4 - Results

A couple of weeks ago I asked about users' experiences with this lens. My

example has now arrived and I've just got around to doing some simple test

shots with the lens. See this page:

larger image. Note the specular reflections from the wine glass at f4/f5.6 and

also the reflections in the window above the wine glass ! I've also shot a

fair number of general shots at various apertures and I'm happy with my

purchase. Now i've got to find some time to shoot a few portraits for a "real"

test.

Impressive! Thanks for the test--it is a good example of how much sharpness and blur varies from aperture to aperture. Excellent lens quality (and photo composition). I just ordered a Mamiya c33o with a 180 super black lens which should arrive today, I hope that the lens comes close to the quality of yours.
