PuntaColorada
Please refer to the guidelines for posting to the 'Monday in Nature' thread. A sea lion trying to take a piece of a ray in Piriápolis, Uruguay. There was much thrashing about and slapping of the ray on the surface before any success was achieved. Rays are tough!

PuntaColorada
First of all, DawsonPointers has informed me that his new name on photo.net is PuntaColorada Thanks for starting the thread this week. Thanx Shun. The reason I had to resurrect myself under a new name is not nefarious. I somehow messed up my DawsonPointers account and can no longer log in. An email to the admins was not answered after a few weeks so I created a new account. Since I no longer live on Dawson Point in Canada and now live on Punta Colorada (Red Point) in Uruguay, the change makes sense on a go-forward basis. Thanx for understanding.

ShunCheung
[begin sarcasm]SHOCKING![end sarcasm] As some of you may know, photo.net is now owned by Creative Live in the Seattle area. (Prior to that, photo.net's ownership was always in the Boston area, as I visited Name Media's headquarters once back in 2008.) I was not informed when the transfer took place, but I believe that happened over a year ago. Initially Glenn Palm transferred with photo.net and became a Creative Live employee, but that relationship had come to an end about a month ago, in mid October. Sorry, I have no idea who is administrating photo.net, but please don't expect Glenn to response any more. Otherwise, I just carry on as usual.

If my post led MiN off course this week, I am sorry. My account problems were likely of my own creation by trying to monkey with the email addresses associated with my account. It is my hope that this week's MiN does not become a discussion about photo.net and remains a showcase for nature photography.
