here we go again, up to 3 photos 1000 pixels max size.

Last sunday i went to the Canon experience days in Arnhem (a mere 5 min drive, so i just had to..)

They had some 15 workshops (only did the concert photo ) and some 10 stages in a big big old Akzo factory.

It was a beatifull day, nice sunny, so the light inside was terrific.

One of the boots was EOS R, in groups of 5 you could play with it. they had the 24-105 and the 50 1.2

Love the lenses, could not get used to the electronic view finder. the camera was set to a 2 sec display of the photo you took,

and that included the viewfinder. turned that option off..but then i did not have a display on the screen.

Ergonomics are different from the eos 5d series. If you take a few days to get used to it it might work.

For now it just didnt feel natural to me.

The silent operation was real silent.. the only way to tell if you took the picture was the frame counter..

Mode dial is in the wrong spot. and the dial ring on the lens is just not where you expect it.

But i love the lenses.

More to come in the coming weeks. Had a little accident, fell down on my hand playing tennis.

A nail came off, very painfull. Can't hold the camera for now. So coming weeks will be old photos..

sorry for typos, just left hand typing is not my strong point.

So heres a EOS R w 50 1.2

Lots of very nice images this week.

I'm a bit behind. I'm digitizing VCR and super-8 films. It's a lot of fun.

This is off topic, but could you explain how you're digitizing your VCR tapes (perhaps in a different thread)? The "It's a lot of fun" has me very curious. Nice picture by the way!

Thank you! I have an RCA-to-USB-cable that sends the signal to the computer. With the drivers included the computer recognizes the signal as if it were just any other input such as e.g. a video cam. The signal can therefore be recorded in any screen-capture software. I'm using OBS studio which is a freeware and it works good enough. We're talking video which is 35+ years old so there has been some deterioration. But glad to be able to saving it nevertheless.

I guess I could have sprung for a video-card which would allow me to capture directly into Premiere Pro, but I believe this works good enough.
