Deleted (empty) galleries still listed

Hi, I decided to clean up my PN portfolio and I removed some old photos. I tried to remove the (now empty) galleries too but without success.

I click on 'delete gallery", I'm asked to confirm I want to delete gallery xxxx, click on "OK" and I get the message "working on it .." and the list of my galleries is reloaded. But the gallery I deleted is still listed.

I've tries with different galleries (empty and non-empty, private and public) under Firefox and Chrome. No difference.

I've searched the help forum for related posts and though one user reported the same problem, no user solution was published. it seems other users have reported problems with galleries in the past.

In my case, other other gallery functions seem to work fine. The minor exception is that the "X" to close the screen when adding/moving photos to a gallery doesn't work.

Hope someone can help. For now my empty galleries are marked "private". As a workaround, admins are welcome to delete any of my galleries that are empty.

Hi Mike, When I view your profile I see 4 galleries, with 1 to 4 photos (7 total) in them... NO galleries with no photos visible to me. However, there are also 16 photos, 9 not associated with any gallery, listed under "photos". I suspect this is a cache issue. I'm having the same (cache) issue with another issue. I clear (empty) the cache, but it doesn't help my issue. I hope it works for you!

You're welcome Mike, it was worth a try I guess. Same with my issue (for "update photos") I'm using Chrome. Here on my main computer it still shows the "old" photo, BUT, if I use my wife's computer or my phone and open photonet as a guest it shows the new updated photo.

HI @mikemorrell - I've passed along your issue to the tech team. Sounds like you've figured out a good workaround in the meantime with making galleries private! Thank you!

@kenna_klosterman, no pressure (I do understand that transitioning into a moderator role takes time:)). Just wondered whether there was any feedback from the tech team.

Hi @Doug Obert,

Thanks for your tip! I made all my (non-deleted) empty galleries "private" so people (including you) wouldn't see them. But I did follow up on your advice to clear caches (Chrome, Firefox). Unfortunately my deleted galleries are still listed :(

how did you make your galleries private?
