Glenn McCreery
Yes, it was a gloomy day. But then, the skies cleared! Selected the sky and then the inverse with magic wand in Photoshop CS5. Copied and pasted over the sky image. Cropped, adjusted tonal contrast and brilliance and warmth in NIK ColorEfex. Total time less than 20 minutes. Edited October 20, 2018 by Glenn McCreery

mikehegarty01
Gerald this is a real nice image this week. I did two images playing with blur. I copied the image into Gimp. First I adjusted the white and black points. I them made a set of luminosity mask and used them to work on color, contrast, and sharping. Then I made blurred copy and used white layer mask and the blend tool to create the effect.

michaellinder
Version #1: In PSE15, used levels to adjust tonalities, then used sponge tool for selective saturation increases, then sharpened. Went to Color Efex, used vintage film filter, then boosted reds by adjusting red curve. Then used Output Sharpener. It's below.
michaellinder
Version #2: Used high key filter in Color Efex, followed by levels adjustments in PSE15. Converted to b&w, sharpened and tonal adjustments in Silver Efex.

Gerald Cafferty
All adjustments in Lightroom 5.7. My idea was to emphasise the reflection of the guildhall and it's tower on the wet paving. First I let LR auto fix level and verticals, then cropped to the format you can see. Using WB I added a global hint of blue to the scene, then with an adjustment brush warmed the buildings and their reflections. Finished off with setting white and black points. Prior to this approach I tried NIK color Efex but there's to many options so I gave up and used trusty LR. Not totally happy with the result but then I never am.
tom_r
My final version! This one was totally done using a trial of DXO PL 2. Hmmm...funky looking clouds especially on the left. I fear I over-slid the sliders and didn't notice until posting. Edited October 25, 2018 by tom_r
