This forum's moderators are allowing up to three Nikon Wednesday images per week, so share some work! It's that time of year when otherwise rational grown men and women use giant air-powered canons to shoot pumpkins hundreds of yards through the air because ... well, it's fun. Happened to have a couple of my drone rigs handy in the vehicle when we came across this very activity. Flew one of my cheap, lightweight bodies with an 18-55 kit lens on a gimble under an octo to get some down-range shots. The crew was lobbing pumpkins at a floating target in the middle of a pond about 1000 feet away. Much gourd carnage ensued. It was late in the day to get some unplanned shots in disappearing light, so I ended up at 1/60th to try to convey some sense of motion. Meh results, but it was fun. Missed the target by that much, but at least I caught the splash. Any other seasonal delights out there? Share some photos!

tonychristians
Throwing in a couple of shots from this weekend at a star party at Antelope Island State Park. A bit too windy to really get some good shots as the camera was getting blown around. Did get some decent colors from sunset and a howling at the moon shot.
