How to post a photo without any words

In the "No Words" forum, most posters don't add comments. When I try to post a photo sans comments, it won't post. I get around this by typing a letter in white, but there must be a better way.

The process for the preceding - Upload file / Choose file / Thumbnail or full / post reply. Have never had to add text to post an image.

I want to add a caption and I seem to be generally OK doing that. I personally want to know a little about it -- like camera, lens, location. Maybe some people want to let the picture speak for itself, but I personally want at least a small caption. I've only had posts deleted when I didn't realize I was in a no words post because the title was somewhat unrepresentative and I get carried away. But a small one line caption seems to be allowed. I don't seem to be the only one who uses a few words anyway.

The very first thread in the No Words Forum explains what is allowed or not in that forum. A few words accompanying your photograph is definitely okay. Posting a comment on another's photograph is not allowed. Regards.

Yes, I agree. Where I went wrong was on the thread that sounded like it was a normal beginner question thread but was actually a no words thread. I didn’t check before I posted. I always try to be as brief as possible though with my caption to have the fewest words possible. I try to fight my normal tendencies. :eek:
