Gotta have fast film and lens to catch such towns driving through...;)

Love those old Sinclair signs.

This little bit of a town was reconstructed a few years back. I remember the old Sinclair gas stations. Not much traffic on this road except for the couple of nights a week that the steak house is open. Not much fast traffic as much of the faster traffic is a few roads over. My wife has some relatives in the area.

A few miles up the road is Calhoun City which is bigger, but still not huge. Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons the teenagers continuously circle the town square. Can't criticize, though, as in my youth we'd ride up and down HWY 45 and cruise though the local Sonic.

6th - from archive - Cane farmers built new houses in prosperous times, which was not that often, and abandon the old abode for squatters if they asked permission, but this house was simply vandalized. A roll of TriX was exposed in the Pentax KM the very day I bought the camera new, in '75. This is one of the shots on the film, which I still have and cherish. The images have that "fine art" look, even though I knew little about developing a film that way in my early days
