jdebever
Here we go again, up to 3 photos , 1000 pixels max size. All i can say is WOW, this is a wonderfull machine. The focussing speed and acuraty is amazing. Took the 5d4 with 24-70 2.8L and the 5d2 with 70-200 2.8 Lis to my nephew's motorcross. The difference is amazing. these are from the in camera jpg's, nothing done to them, just resized to fit 1000 pixels. (i should cropp this one) the 5d2 still makes nice photos :-)

Trigger_Happy
It's cooking up to a gale this weekend. I could not test my new lens more than a little. The sea-spray is quite substantial so I don't want to be out too much in this weather and get the front element all salty. At least it's Friday and I'm almost caught up again. I'll be visiting Photokina next week. Anyone from the list going? 5D Mark IV 150-600 Sigma

Trigger_Happy
Let us know if Canon is showing any secrets! I'm not expecting any big new reveals. They just did the full sensor mirrorless Canon R. But at Photokina two years ago they showed a mega sensor that you could test out. Think it was >100 MP on a DSLR. It was no where near coming into production. But nice to see what the research department is up to. I'll be sure to post something from the show next Thursday.

I don't know if it will be at Photokina, but i suspect next year will be a pro version of the full frame mirrorless, 2 card slots. I think the R is moving in a good direction for Canon. A 100 MP Pro body, 2 slots, eye focus, I need my 5D MKIV controls and joystick, and in body stabilization and it will be a home run. Anyone from the list going? 5D Mark IV 150-600 Sigma I wish. Maybe one day. So you picked up the 150-600mm Sigma. Congrats. Did you get the C or the Sport? I have the C and am pretty happy with it. That was the lens camera combo for my duck photo this week. Now a request. You have to get us a close shot of one of those lighthouses one day if you find yourself near one and get a chance. :-) 1 Cheers, Mark

The island on the photo is called Klädesholmen and has a bridge connection. So after I had been to take in my mums horses I thought I'd swing by on my way home. Surprisingly enough it is not all that easy to get a clear view of the lighthouse from land. I'll get there someday when it's a bit calmer but to day I couldn't. I had to be contempt with some seagull rear.
