Replying to other users?

Great site, can anyone explain how to reply to someone who comments or asks a question about my photography? regards

1) simply reply in the thread itself for public discussion -> just type your comment in the box and "Post Reply"

2) for a private (insofar as that is possible nowadays) discussion, click on the portrait/avatar, click Private Message, and pretty much like a post from then on, except that only the 'target' will get the notice

 

We've had our ups and downs, but it is overall one of my favorite sites.

Thanks for your help, however I cant see any ( private message) once I click the portrait/avatar ,maybe I have to be following said person or I have to be a full member for this privilege ?

So; you don't have the Private Message option in the box? I wonder if it's a feature that hasn't switched on yet, because your account is quite new. It's not a thing you have to be a paying member to get; I'm not.

Thanks for the help,but when I click on an avatar I don't see this little white box I am just directed to their site with users photos and lots of options to follow,admire their galleries, followers etc but no private message ,very frustrating, regards Bruce
