Film Camera Week for September 7

Recommended Posts

Greetings, all and welcome to our new thread. As usual post as many images as you like from your film camera. I'll start with some shots from a roll of Plus-X that I shot this past Saturday at Prairie Arts Festival in my home town. Camera was Minolta SRT 101 with MD 35-70 f 3.5.

The annual run begins at 8:00 A.M.

This, btw, was the 40th Prairie Arts Festival. In earlier days it saw much greater numbers, but after Hurricane Katrina the numbers fell off sharply and never completely recovered.

Also have a roll in my Nikon Lite Touch (Kentmere 100) and Rollei B35 (Fuji Superia 200) that I will eventually have images from.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's images.

Hello everyone. Last week while getting my act together for the upcoming Hyper Jump back to Hawaii for the winter, I "discovered" only one scan for this roll of 120 from 2007. OK, back into the scanner525908597_2k18-2k7-072005ces10bcsqr.thumb.jpg.e069b720b93a4c97e5712c40400ead47.jpg it went & now a few from yesteryear. The first was posted in the CMC forum YashicaMat EM, Tri-X @ 250, PMK-Pyro & V800 scan. Aloha from the Mainland, Bill

Love the dog portrait, Erko! It's been a really miserable week in my neck of the woods with temperatures stuck in the single digits, persistent rain and a very chillly wind blowing in from the Antarctic. I've not had a chance to get out with a camera so here are a few from a week or so ago, before the bad weather set in. Yashica FR1 : Tamron Adaptall II SP 28-80mm f/3.5-4.2 (Model 27A) : Ilford FP4 Plus : PMK Pyro

So, I was gifted a Pentax SP 1000 and a few lenses (55mm, 85mm, and a 50mm). The meter is whacky; responds to light, recognises the battery, but under-exposes. A couple or shots, the first with the 55mm lens of some frost afflicted funeral lillies; the second with the 85mm lens of a student on placement in my workplace (handheld, wide open aperture). Both with HP5 and Ilfosol developer (using up the dregs) It's a good camera; ergonomic, nicely balanced. The meter is obtuse, even if it worked. And the lenses are a treat, particularly the 85mm. I’d say you did fine without it, those photos are “Whacky Nice”.

As for the aircraft, everyone around this household likes ‘em, Wife, Dad (Airforce Vet),Brother....

An image from the first film exposed in the 1958 Mamiya Metra since I bought the camera some months ago. Subject is a seat in a local government childrens play park. FP4 developed in Adox Rodinal 1:50 15mins. Negatives were grainy and tonally flat so worked on them a bit. More images will be shown when I feature the camera in it's own thread
