Here we go again....

Once again the images I loaded this week have disappeared from the recent pages and the trending pages. I'm going on vacation Sept 6-17 and will not load any more images here until I return. I'm hoping these things will have been corrected by then.

Doesn't make sense for this to happen every other week. I'm wasting my time. I've deleted about 10-12 images because they don't show up anywhere anyway.

Hello, trending photos goes back a week, it's never a fixed list, it's a constantly evolving list of what's currently popular over the last 5 days or so. There is some pretty stiff competition. We're trying to give everyone airtime. As for recent, it's shouldn't "disappear" it should just be further down the list. I will check that. If you do delete a lot of images and add, perhaps a bug is exposed in the indexing process, I'll check that as well.

Also "recent" page is back dated a day and 1/2. So you won't appear there right away. We unfortunately get a ton of spam uploads and need a day to always comb through and remove them.

Of course, I already know that. So who is combing through my images and removing them???

At least I found out why my profile page says I have 48 images and I really have over 170.

Foureyes told me his images were disappearing also. He said I have to go through over 100 images and make them private then make them public again so they will be added to the count. It works, but why is this happening and how often will I need to do this?

Yikes, I have logged in as you and did a test upload. Your member pages account says "145" photos and I can always see them all, your public profile page only says 110. I did a test upload and now it says "111" profile photos, and 146 photos in your account page. So at least it's consistent that way.

 

I added the test photo to your "featured photos" it now says 71, which should be correct. I tested sorting featured photos, and it's correctly sorted the test photo to be last.

 

That's the bug right? the mis-match between the profile page and the member center pages??

Now I created a test gallery with the test image, sorted the galleries, and it's correctly showing the test gallery as the last one on the public profile page. Note: The profile page exact counts of public photos and galleries cached usually for about 5 to 10 minutes, because it's expensive to query and we saving load, if you don't see them changing right away.
