Moving On
I love gravel roads. Grew up on ‘em. Low traffic and you always know when someone is coming. Few left around here these days.

m42dave
No photos right now, though I hope to finish up two rolls this week. As part of last week's "Wacky Wednesday" thrift store finds, I also picked up this Super-Takumar 135/3.5 for just $1. Bill Bowes
The results from this film are a bit baffling to me. The shadow values almost vanish in the neg & the grain is a bit more than I am use to with the Kentmere / Ultrafine films. Once the post processing values are set it does give a "certain" feeling to the print unlike 40+ years of b/w work. Perhaps I will order another roll or two & continue the dabbling. Here is a side-by-side comparison of 1k x 1k crops. Aloha from the Mainland, Bill
Moving On
The S3 is getting an early start today with a roll of Ektar. Expect to roll into some Velvia this weekend with it to have a roll of each of what I shoot covering the bases in the new camera. Getting used to using the old Gossen again.

rick_drawbridge
Here are a few frames from a Nikon FE fitted with a Tokina 28-70mm ATX f/2.8 lens I was offered. It's a nice sharp lens once you get down to about f/4.5, but very big and heavy and I think I'll pass on it. The film was Ilford FP4 Plus developed in PMK Pyro. It's a gloomy forecast, but if the weather improves I may have something else to post by the end of the weekend. Mike Gammill
Great start to our thread. And welcome to our weekly thread, kmac. I hope to see more of your work. Moving on- We still have a fair number of gravel roads where I live. Growing up we delighted in making "hand brake turns" in a 1969 VW Beetle that belonged to a friend and my mother's 1973 Vega. The Vega was especially fun as it had a light rear end and was faster than the VW. My first car was a 1969 Mustang which had a floor mounted emergency brake so no hand brake turns in it. But at least it was fast.

davecaz
No classic camera results this week, but here are a couple I took using a classic lens, the Tamron 28-70 f/3.5-4.5 Adaptall-2. It's currently residing on my Canon 6D, which is what I used to take these. Just an office building, but I love the graphic effect. Unfortunately, the light was flat, today, after being excellent yesterday, when I didn't have my camera with me. (I know, I know) Crepuscular Rays - I so rarely get to use that word. Exposed for the sky, obviously. The house is for lease, if anyone is thinking of moving here.
