JDMvW
I've spent more time than I'd like to admit trying to track down the Aeon camera marque, with no luck at all. Here is an offer of it from the old mail-order house Burke & James from October, 1956, Popular Photography: It's fairly 'generic' for the 1956 era. Here is a link about the Prontor shutter (link), widely used by small manufacturers in the 50s. Anyone have any knowledge or even rumor about this camera? Who made it? As for Gnosticism? JDMvW
It helps if you spell the name right. My fuzzy eyes read 'e' for 'c' Thankso_O It's somehow appropriate that it was made by Ars Optical, I guess.
