ikeroelfsema
Hopefully some one can help me..... I am since this evening the happy owner of a Franka Solida Record from 1957. Unfortunately the lens is 'damaged', there is half way a sort of 'film' (moist?). However, I unfolded the front for the first time using the button and it pooped out nicely but don't know how to slide it back in again. What am I doing wrong? Thank you so much for any advice you can give me. Ike
davecaz
The Franka Solida Record is one of a number of cameras on which the lens must be set to Infinity in order to close it back up. The manual for it is available here: Franka-Werk Solida 6x6, Solida I, FW Solida II instruction manual, Franka-Werk Solida III instruction manual, Solida Jr. user manual, PDF manual, free instruction manuals Please pay the supplier the $3 he requests, if you download the manual. rick_drawbridge
Just below the front of the lens, running across the base plate of the camera, there's a bar with a plated button in the middle. If you press the bar downwards into the base plate the camera should begin to fold and close.
