Things I didn't know until last week: swans look like flamingos in infrared (whereas ducks and geese look normal). Unlike the other two, this isn't channel swapped - the swan looks pink on the camera's LCD too. (The sun was going down, so this could be more spectacular...)

It is also interesting to note that while swans look pink like flamingos in infrared, flamingos look white like swans in infrared! The beta-carotene in the flamingo's feathers, which gives them their pink appearance, is also highly reflective of infrared radiation from the sun. So flamingos appear white when photographed with a infrared filter like the Hoya R72 720nm filter in front of the lens.
