savvo Posted July 5, 2018 Share Posted July 5, 2018 My Style 300s head's fan just started rattling as I adjusted it on the light stand. I opened it up very gingerly and found this resistor has desoldered itself. I can't see where it has detached from. I assume from the size and the thermistor attached to it that this is the power dump / capacitor discharge so the caps are now charged up and lively for the next week or more. So, I'm not inclined to poke around in there without some solid info... Two questions. Where can I probe to find the state of charge in there?Where do I reattach the resistor?
