Ed_Ingold
You can get an idea of the bokeh of the 90/2.8 Macro from this picture - from bonsai collection of the Chicago Botanic Garden... Edited July 4, 2018 by Ed_Ingold
Ed_Ingold
Auto focus in the A7Rii is faster than my Nikon D3 or A7ii, but not as fast as an A9 or A7Riii. Eye focus is not as positive as in the newer cameras for moving subjects, but works perfectly for portraits. Eye focus is not even on the wish list for a DSLR. For the candles, I think the camera focused on the reflection in the brass rather than the flame or candle. There wasn't much light, which means the contrast detectors (25) take priority. michael_radika
I do a lot of portraits so the eye auto focus is very important to me. but I don't think many of my subjects will actually be moving very much.
michael_radika
I was hoping I can find some Sony a7r II raw files of portraits for free download I'd love to look at the files in Lightroom and do some printing on my Canon.
