arthur_gottschalk
This leads to my own question: Which flash is better for my M6TTL, the SF20 or the SF24? Not looking for lots of distance.
Gus Lazzari
The SF20 vs. SF24D Which flash is better for my M6TTL" Arthur G. They're identical in TTL mode on your M6TTL, as with the M7, R8, & R9 . The difference being that the SF20 is not compatible with the digitals like an M8 or M9 in TTL mode. Now a SF24D is compatible with all of them; plus among other things, it has more compensation-range, a greater range of aperture choices available for use in Auto mode on a M6TTL and two snap-in diffusers (24mm & 85mm) recognized by the flash. Finally, the 24D was especially suited for the P&S Leica CM and the Digilux 2. Edited June 27, 2018 by Gus Lazzari
arthur_mcculloch2
Thanks for that info Gus. I have both flash units (the sf20 for my M6 TTL and the sf40 for my monochrom. So to double confirm, I can use the sf40 on my M6? My sf40 doesn't have the 'D' affix, so I'm hoping it's the same.
