sanjay_chaudary
Hi, my niece recently got a fuji instax mini 8 camera and I would like to buy some film for her. What films do you suggest? I am familiar with only 35mm and medium format film . I am not familiar with what is compatible with this camera. thanks in advance.
Vincent Peri
I found this: Fujifilm instax mini Instant Film (60 Exposures) 600016111 B&H I've ordered a lot of 35mm film from them with never a problem.
Colin O
Instax Mini uses Mini film. See here: mini film What is available to you will depend on where you are shopping. I guess your niece just wants to have fun? So pick a fun film. Pick several. I'm sure she'll enjoy the results.
glen_h
As far as I know, only Fuji makes the film for it. There is Instax mini, wide, and I think one other size. -- glen
sanjay_chaudary
Thanks for your response. I normally buy from adorama.com and bh . I have been a customer since 2000. I also buy from freestyle photo. They have a wider range of film. My 35mm equipment is from the first two. I got my used stuff from keh.com. I noticed that one of the Polaroid accepts mini film and wanted to know if any other company film could be used for the mini. There's colour and black and white for mini
eddy_d
They just came out with a new camera. It is pricey though. Over $100.
glen_h
The square format seems to be the newest. There is also a hybrid, so digital and film it seems. -- glen
