Mamiya universal Press focus.. Kinda dark.

Hello, anyone know of any bright screens or focusing aids for a Mamiya press camera? My goal is too make it brighter by any means available.

Are you speaking of the view/rangefinder on top of the camera? Or when using the ground glass on the back?

If it's the viewfinder on top, the problem could be dirt. It's fairly easy to remove the top and clean the lenses. First, use a blower to remove all dust and loose particles. I use a Q-Tip and lens fluid. The mirrors of the rangefinder are front surface and VERY fragile - easily scratched. If they are dirty it will darken the rangefinder spot. I have carefully cleaned front surface mirrors with lens tissue and fluid. Do it with very light pressure and just enough to remove any remaining scum.

My Super 23 is pretty nice, view/rangefinder wise, but no Leica.
