Weekly Post Processing Challenge 26th May 2018

Another weekly challenge.

 

If anyone else would like to post next week please give it a go, upload a High resolution jpeg. Just indicate by Wednesday next in this thread if you are willing to try.

 

Remember there are no rules you can do what you wish in your interpretation, please can you give information of the steps taken and software used to add interest.

 

It is not meant as a competition just a bit of fun.

The source photo is a bit different this week because it was taken using a Hoya R72 Infrared filter. Normally you would hope to have the RAW file for this. Looking forward to seeing can be done with a Jpeg.

Convert to b/w in Lightroom. Yellow filter in Silver Efex2

PSE 14, haze reduction, B&W, levels, add colour.

In Photoshop posterized, in filters chose stylize then extrude, then posterized one more time.

First, in PSE15, I removed as much of the orange cast as possible. Then, I went to Silver Efex to convert the image to b&w, and then made sharpness and tonal adjustments. Finally, using PSE's dodge tool, I slightly lightened overly dark areas in the background vegetation.

GIMP curves to boost contrast, convert to B&W, add bunny.

 

I started by selecting various tonal ranges with "magic wand" in Photoshop and changed their color balance. Then I played with painting filters in Topaz Simplify, added a border, and pasted an appropriate fabric on the chair back.
