friskybongo
Hi Everyone, I’ll be purchasing a Paul C. Buff CyberSense to use with my Digibee 800. While I’ll need a CyberSync Transceiver, I’ll also need either a battery-operated CyberSync™ Battery Powered Plus Receiver or a CyberSync™ AC Powered Plus Receiver. With the AC Plus unit I won’t ever have to worry about changing batteries; are there other advantages? Why would someone buy the battery powered receiver? Thank you. Jochen_S
Why would someone buy the battery powered receiver? To drain battery packs powering the Digibee less? Or to trigger something else, if that is an option at all. No clue, Buff don't sell around here.
AJG
If you are only using the receiver with an AC powered unit, get the AC powered receiver. If you might want to connect a battery powered flash at some point then get the battery powered version. I have both; the batteries last for quite a while, but I use the AC receivers with AC flash units so that I don't have to worry about batteries.
