JDMvW
Trees in Snow at New Harmony, Indiana Since my health, weather, and still-new puppy keep me somewhat restrained on the shooting with old cameras, I just find it hard to resist posting pictures whenever they are even minimally appropriate.;)
sjmurray
I do a lot of tree photos. Here's my first image I did with a 4x5 camera (Calumet with 10 inch lens). This is a park in Santa Barbara, 1972. Yes, I attended Brooks Institute of Photography (briefly!). Its still one of my favorites.
Supriyo
Steve's photo reminded me of this one I took on a trail near my home, although the 4x5 resolution in Steve's image really brings out the details in the leaf canopies.

tcyin
Welcoming pine tree by Tom Yin, on Flickr Believe it or not, this is probably the most famous tree in China. Show this picture to most Chinese and they will recognize it as the 'welcome pine' on Huangshan 4 www.neurotraveler.com

Norma Desmond
Speaking of photography, haha, the model’s skin is unfortunately burned out to a pretty serious degree. We didn't need dialogue. We had faces!
akocurek
Upon closer inspection, Fred, you're correct. I didn't have a model to use. This tree will be filling out soon, I hope!
paul ron
Speaking of photography, haha, the model’s skin is unfortunately burned out to a pretty serious degree. Sorry... that's the downfall of low res scanned negatives... its a digital compromise trying to keep shadows and highlights. My photoshop skills aren't very good either. I don't have any other shots of that tree alone. The print is spectacular though. The more you say, the less people listen.
