Flattening roll paper

I have recently begun using roll paper on my Epson P800 printer. I am now about 50% of the way through a roll of Exhibition Fiber paper. It is getting to be very hard to handle because of curling. Is there something I missed in the instructions? Any ideas on how to handle this as I get closer to the end of the roll? Thanks!

The old-fashioned way is to press them between sheets of plywood, alternated with blotting paper. The quickest and most effective way is to mount them on archival foam-core board in a vacuum press. They will relax somewhat if left open and unconfined, but never completely. Large printers have rolls with 3" cores, which come off fairly relaxed and easy to handle. I send large prints out, and have them mounted immediately. Small (17" or less) printers use 1" cores, which results in tight curls. Only Epson persists with that folly.

 

I have seen three-roller print straighteners, which impart enough reverse curl to flatten the prints. The ends are still problematic.
