John Seaman
I had a Koni Omega Rapid a few years ago: The Koni Omega Rapid - Pull It, Twist It, Bonk It There seem to be internet reports of issues with a slipping clutch in the film backs, but mine worked fine. Sorry I can't be of any real help.
JDMvW
On my Rapid Omega there was a tiny pit of unevenness in the spacing between frames, but all the 120 film cameras seem to be a little sensitive to being loaded even a little bit crooked, or loose, or ... Rapid Omega 100 6x7 RF camera Try another roll and be extra cautious in getting it in straight, and keeping tension on the roll in loading. Of course maybe one of the spools just got bent. joseph_dickerson
I used Rapid Omegas and Omegaflexes (remember them?) for several years and never had the problem shown above. Other issues on occasion but never any problems with uneven take up. Overall they were pretty reliable, and I was using them daily. Excellent lenses as well. I'd second JDMvW's response.
