I don’t like most of the pictures nowadays that receive awards on the internet, but these shots have tried to do creative things with surf and surfers. Some cool abstracts as well. Toward the other end of the spectrum for surfing photos, these are a bit more personal and humble, not as iconic or eye-grabbing but, for me, a nice alternative to the way surfing is often portrayed.
