michaellinder
I'm going to stand in for Gerald this week. Please be patient for a little while while I find a suitable image.
michaellinder
Another weekly challenge. If anyone else would like to post next week please give it a go, upload a High resolution jpeg. Just indicate by Wednesday next in this thread if you are willing to try. Remember there are no rules you can do what you wish in your interpretation, please can you give information of the steps taken and software used to add interest. It is not meant as a competition just a bit of fun.
Glenn McCreery
I started by using the perspective tool in Photoshop CS5 to make the photo look like it was taken with a wider angle lens at a closer distance. This made the horizon very tilted, so I cropped out the background (plus the right side). Next, I used "Painting" adjustments in Topaz Simplify and hue/saturation adjustments in CS5, to make the photo look more like a water color painting. tom_r
A sketch on a canvas? That was the effect I tried to get through Photoshop adjustments, sketch applications with Akvis and a gritty canvas effect with SHS-HDR.

michaellinder
Bill, I decided to try a technique you used previously - the colored pencil filter in Photoshop Elements 15. After using it, I adjusted tonal levels, sharpness, and added warmth.
