What camera(s) are you using this weekend?

I have some film loaded up in a couple of old Canons -- an original F-1 and an FTb -- so I'll take these with me as I head out this weekend.

Film finished in the Rollei and SRT 101.Have Kentmere 100 in the Yashica FX3 Super 2000. Also have a roll in my Konica Auto S 1.6.

Finishing up the roll of Tri-X loaded into my Nikon F2 with attached 35mm f1.4 Nikkor.

Nikon FM + Voigtlander Ultron 40mm f2 + Orwo N74.

Hope to test this clean little Miranda dx-3. Picked it up in non-working condition (mirror up, shutter open) and after cleaning the battery contacts and a bit of exercise, it came back to life. Also changed the seals and calibrated the meter.

 

I'm going to try to shoot with a couple of Nikon FA's I bought last year and haven't used before. Probably gonna shoot with a Nikkor 105 f/2.5 and a Nikkor 55 f/2.8 macro. I just moved recently and will be exploring the neighborhood.

I have a short test roll of Kentmere 100 in a new to me Petri Color 35, if everything comes out good I have a roll of Provia 100 to try next

I remember the DX-3. Made at a time when makers were leaning toward more compact SLR's. Looking forward to seeing some images.

I finished up a roll of Kentmere 100 in my Konica Auto S1.6 and and halfway through with another roll in my Yashica FX-3 Super 2000. Used my compact Phoenix 100mm f3.5 macro to start. This lightweight lens is a good match for this camera.

Last week I took out my Nikkormat EL which STB with a locked up shutter. So this week it is a Nikkormat FT2.

Working through a roll of HP5+ in Minolta XE-5. Started with Tamron Adaptall II 28-200 but will switch to Rokkor primes over the next few days.

XE-5 with 50mm MC Rokkor-X f1.7

Also running another roll of Kentmere 100 through my Konica Auto S 1.6.

Got a Zeiss Ikonta 520 loaded up with some Fomapan.

There's a camera fair in Hilversum on Sunday I'm going to visit. Might take some snaps there.

Last weekend I went out shooting with a pair of Nikon FA's. I liked it so much that I'll be using them again this weekend. Loaded with Kodak Ektar and Fuji Provia 100F.

A very local Hawaiian Culture Expo will have me out of the shell with the Fed & Zorki. . .Kentmere400 of course. Aloha, Bill

I'm making an effort to get back into shooting film, so this weekend I'm shooting one of my favorites, my black XD11, along with this lovely little camera I got for about $5. It's a Vivitar XC-3, a camera I've never heard of or even knew existed until a week ago. I'm shooting a Tamron (screw-mount adapter) 35-135mm zoom that my father used to use on his Vivitar 220/SL.

In addition to the Auto S 1.6, I decided to give my Nikon FE-2 (with 50mm f2 some exercise. I have a roll of Kentmere 100 loaded.

Agfa Selectaflex, with 50, 35 and 90mm lenses. First roll after CLA. Hoping that something will come out. Maybe next weekend the FP4+ roll will be finished.

With my first grandchild due tomorrow I will probably have a roll of HP5+ in my Pentax ZX-7 with 50mm f2.8 macro for available light close ups. I'll have to shoot a few digital shots for family but after that it's film.

Yashicamat circa approx. 1957 (best I can figure.) No letter designation has Yashinon lens.

I am not a Yashica expert but have owned a few including the g's and for me this one is the best of the bunch. Very smooth film wind, all metal nothing cheap about it or it's finish.

I'll grapple with this Ihagee Exa, though I'll probably fit a better lens than the standard Meritar. Unique construction, with a surprisingly bright viewfinder.

I have a Nikkormat FT-3 hopefully arriving by late next week. If so that will be one of the cameras I use next weekend.

This afternoon (Friday here) it's off to Honolulu & the China Town District with the Agfa Isolette II & then Sunday (after the market) it's back to Kakaako & the "new" murals with the Fed-2 (b/w) & horrors !!,, my XE-1 !! Don't have an XE-1, but do have an XE-5, XE-7, and XE. Really like the quiet shutter and smooth film advance.

Although big and heavy compared to some SLR'a, I sometimes combine it with compact lenses. Here's a shot of my XE (with 45mm f2 Rokkor-X mounted) with a pair of Sigma's- 24mm f2.8 mini wide and 90mm f2.8 macro.

This one gets some use as soon as I finish film in Konica Auto S1.6.
