Gerald Cafferty
Another weekly challenge. If anyone else would like to post next week please give it a go, upload a High resolution jpeg. Just indicate by Wednesday next in this thread if you are willing to try. Remember there are no rules you can do what you wish in your interpretation, please can you give information of the steps taken and software used to add interest. It is not meant as a competition just a bit of fun. Attention. I will be unable to post a challenge for the next two weeks so maybe you would like to step forward and fill the gap. JeffOwen
In PS corrected perspective and used Highlights & Shadows to even out exposure. This is what i would normally do to a shot like this. However in my next example I have done the complete opposite.

michaellinder
In PSE15, I cropped slightly from bottom and right; also adjusted levels. The rest was done in Silver Efex - the conversion to b&w, sharpness (i.e., structure) and tonal adjustments, selective color using a control point.
tom_r
My version in which I spent way too much time for a result I'm not really happy with. I bounced around a lot from LR to PS to 3d Lut Creator to Topaz programs.

michaellinder
Grungier attempt Tom, I guess I'm a fan of grunge; I liked the 2nd version better.
Gerald Cafferty
All adjustments in LR. Realign verticals and horizontals, crop. Using adjustment brushes increase exposure to lamp. Increase saturation to red, yellow and blue. Apply vignette.
Glenn McCreery
I wanted to try something different, so I switched from rectangular to polar coordinates in Affinity Photo, then edited the resultant transformation in Photoshop CS5. I increased brightness and contrast of the lamp, and then, following JRC's example, added a couple of bats.
