Glenn McCreery
Nice composition, so I left it alone. I selected the sky using "magic wand" in Photoshop CS5, and adjusted levels to make the clouds more prominent. Then I flattened the image, sharpened it, and converted to black and white in NIK SilverEfex, and gave it a sepia tone.

michaellinder
Used square format by cropping primarily from right side using PSE15. Then applied Color Efex's vintage film filter. Finally adjustments made in PSE - slightly dodged windmill's main wooden structure, then used sponge tool to increase saturation selectively. I also prepared a b&w version - conversion and further tonal adjustments in Silver Efex.

Gerald Cafferty
Carried out basic adjustments in LR and then applied Auto upright adjustment which had a big effect on things including stretching the sky. Cropped to near square and then opened in to Color Efex Pro. Applied Dark Contrasts filter and moved some sliders, then applied Detail Extractor filter. Back into LR applied slight Curves adjustment.
michaellinder
Quite a diversity of responses, GC. I dare say we owe this to your selection of images for each week.
