michaellinder
Recently, the NIK bundle has been giving me fits. Initially, after working on an image in Photoshop Elements 15, everything crashes when I try to open the image in one of the NIK programs. I found an article on the web, An Easy Fix for Nik Collection’s Recent Crash Issues, and became optimistic immediately. Sadly, I couldn't even try the fix the article suggests without PSE crashing. I also thought I had come up with a brainstorm, namely, to open each NIK program as a standalone. So I opened Color Efex, but as soon as I tried to open an image I already processed in PSE15, the whole thing went down. Any suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks! tom_r
Hi, Michael. I don't have a mac, but I found a few ideas here that you probably already tried: Nik is crashing High Sierra
Glenn McCreery
Michael. I had a problem with High Sierra (but not Sierra) crashing NIK Color Efex in Photoshop CS5 on my 2010 Mac Pro. Other NIK software worked. The solution was to remove all NIK software, download the software again, and reinstall it. I was under the impression that there were no recent updates to the software, but perhaps I had a still older version installed?
