Timo, I experienced the same thing last weekend. It seemed to last for a few days... very annoying! My galleries are accessible now. Hopefully your's are too. Hopefully your's are too. yes, the site was down for longer than we wanted. devOps fixed it as soon as they could, our uptime is still over 99.5% but we'll work to improve on it.
