luis triguez
Wonderful colors and shapes Luis, I'd love to see the finished painting posted here. No wonder your photos are so good! I'm so sorry Eric. I don't think I can ever finish the painting. I have lost the sight in my right eye due to a triple retinal detachment and have had to stop painting. Staying with two dimensions in sight makes it almost impossible to face the canvas, so I will have to settle for just the photographic camera. So very sorry to hear you won't be painting any longer due to this, I imagine painting would bring much comfort during these wretched times. But as long as we're assured you'll continue your photo contributions here! 2 Why do I say things...

Luis, I'm sorry to hear that and I sympathize as I'm losing my sight in my left eye. In the past, and even the present I remind myself of the phony latin phrase I had engraved on a signboard and used to share with my employees when they got depressed by contentious clients, "Ne Illigitima carborundum" ...don't let the bastards grind you down. I apply it to anything interfering with enjoyment of life these days. Hang in there and find ways to compensate for life's obstacles.

I hope there's some recourse or solution or something for you! Thankfully it seems it won't really affect your photography? Best luck with it in any case! BTW the painting is lovely, even in its unfinished condition I can see you're a real talent there as well! Tom
