Thoughts on the Canon TS-E 45mm f/2.8

My curiosity got to me and I found the screwdrivers. #00 fit, but 000 might be better. I didn't have one. One of the screws on mine is jazzed up; I guess I'll leave it alone.

Thumbscrews, huh? I'd love to see that! LOL

Me too, I got two screws out, unfortunately, the other two screws are not coming out, unless I come up with a clever was to remove stripped screws on a nanoscale. lol. I had both #00 and #000 screwdrivers, I think the screws are glued in and the screws are soft metal. Warning to anyone attempting this. Didn't hurt the lens, just two screws. I suppose they could be drilled out. :( Not looking as easy as the link shows.

 

But on the bright side, the lens still works fine as originally designed.

Instructions always skip "what if this happens"!
