bgelfand
Over 100 years it seems (or maybe only 50-some years; more research is needed). https://petapixel.com/2018/01/02/guy-got-100-year-old-bottle-film-developer-tried/ The film was well out of date (35-years out of date), too. And the camera was a few decades old.
Bill Bowes
I am using a bottle of Rodinal first opened in 2012. On average a roll of film get's into this developer (semi stand) about every other month with great results. Glass marbles keep the liquid almost at the cap level. ian_gordon_bilson
I have a Rodinal bottle dating from the 1960's. It works fine.
