michael_spanel
I recently purchased a used Minolta Auto Meter IVF everything seemed to work OK, except after I removed the white diffuser dome, then reattached it all my readings get the flashing "E" and "u" signs, as if the meter wasn't able to read in low light. This isn't the case though, since nothing changes when I adjust the ISO and shutter settings or go into a brightly lit location. The meter seems to be stuck in this mode. I've tried to reset things by reattaching the diffuser several times, removing the battery and replacing it, pushing the dome activation pin in and out to make sure it wasn't stuck. Nothing works. Any thoughts on what's causing the problem?

rodeo_joe1
There's a little pin that gets pushed in when the dome is attached. See if that happens. Also try a new battery. Minolta Autometers are heavy on batteries. I usually remove the battery in mine when not in use.
etgalim
Hi michael_spanel, Wondering if you somehow got around the issue. I was about to use mine after a long time and I'm having the same issue.

etgalim
Of course. But having not find any other place that discuss that issue, I thought I should give it a shot :)
