Karim Ghantous
The Leica Manual says that some models got f/2.5 apertures, IIRC.
james_elwing
I am sure there were a few other changes, but most related to lenses. There were two similar 5 element f3.5 50mm lenses, Anistagmat and Elmax before the 4 element Elmar, then the 6 element Hektor f2.5. This is on the record; someone will know about other minor changes. Troll
I sort of recall something about a change in the mechanism for allowing the film to wind onto the take-up spool. Does this ring any bells? Also, I seem to recall that the original rubber coated cloth shutter material was prone to failure, and was replaced by focal plane cloth bought from Graflex. Any comments? Greg M
Too many changes for anyone to try and list here. There are historical and collector books dedicated to this, and most of those only refer to the various different lenses and other obvious external changes, such as the style of release. I wouldn't doubt at all the Model A was also tweeked internally multiple times during the production run before they finally just introduced new models to completely replace it.
