davecaz
I started with LR, and brought up the shadows, adjusted the color and contrast a bit, cleaned up the dust spots (which LR actually couldn't see, which was odd), and used a radial filter to draw the eye to the rocks, because it seemed to lack a focal point before that. Then I took it into Topaz Clarity, which required saving it to TIF format in order to apply the LR settings. I started with their Sunny Day - Blue Sky preset, and made some minor adjustments to suit this image, and saved it back to LR. The problem for me, as always, was in the conversion back to jpeg. I will be thrilled when it is no longer anyone's standard, because I never know what it's going to do to my images. In this case, it made the image garish and orange-brown toned, the first time. After a few tries involving mostly guesswork, I arrived at the version you see below.

tom_r
Another attempt by me. This time with Topaz Simplify, a light sketching action with Akvis, back to Photoshop for a little vibrance and history brush. Thanks, Glen, for all these great photos for practice.
