Mike Gammill
What lake is that, James? BTW, it is about 1 mile from turning on to Churchill Road to the entrance to the Kitty Dill Memorial Parkway. Even though it's for walking, I sometimes ride my bicycle on it (remembering to yield to pedestrians). So if you're walking the parkway and see a cyclist with a camera, it's probably me. James Bryant
The lake is our community lake that I pay to support and gain access. I have posted pictures of it before but each is different because the light, clouds, and environment are always changing. I look forward to walking on the Kitty Dill Memorial Parkway. I enjoy your pictures of the local area. The forum has me looking for images close to home.

rick_drawbridge
A great start to this week's thread! I'm just home from a week away on one of our offshore islands, having had very little contact with computers or cameras. However, I did manage to shoot a roll of Fuji Superia 200 using the trusty Praktica BX20 with a 35-70mm Pentacon Prakticar f/3.5-4.5 lens, and I'll post a few samples below. Mike Gammill
Great start to our weekly thread. Just scanned a roll of Plus-X that I processed yesterday. I have a few rolls of it left plus a 100' bulk roll in cold storage so I use it sparingly. The closest in tonality I get at similar speed is Kentmere 100 but the Ilford FP4+ comes closer in grain. Plus-X and FP4+ both can take a slight push without too much of a hit in quality. Haven't tried that with Kentmere 100. But the need for a push is rare since I have faster films on hand. A few from the Plus-X Cleaning up, Pentax ZX-5 with Pentax SMC A 50mm f2 The ZX-5 autofocus no longer functions though the focus confirmation works fine. I like using it with my old manual focus 50mm f2. More cowbell, from counter of Twisted Burger, same gear as above crowded parking lot just before Christmas, same gear favorite ornament, posted a shot of it last year taken with a macro lens, 50mm f2 here at minimum focus column outside of Tupelo Olive Garden, same gear as above
rick_drawbridge
Just finished a roll of Ilford FP4 Plus I popped into the Praktica BX-20 after finishing the Superia 200 I used for the island pics I posted earlier. The lens was the 35-70mm Pentacon Prakticar f/3.5-4.5. Here are some samples; the film was processed in PMK Pyro and scanned on an Epson V700 Photo using Silverfast software.
