Matt Laur
Important: please keep your image under 1000 pixels on the longest side for in-line viewing, and please keep the FILE SIZE UNDER 300kb. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). Are you new to this thread? The general guidelines for these Wednesday threads are right here: http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00W7km. This forum's moderators are allowing up to three Nikon Wednesday images per week, so share some work! What? The second-to-last Nikon Wednesday of the year? I'll try to be a little more focused on art for the last one, but for this week, it's a quick product shot as my favorite jewelry designer shipped a set out the door to a holiday customer. We've got a quaint old D3200 with a 105mm macro lens set up in that work area for quick product shots in a light tent. For web listings, it's more than adequate, and even though that little camera has an annoying view finder, it records perfectly usable RAW files when you've got some light and a decent lens to work with. So let's see some other busy holiday shots, while we all contemplate next week's last shot of the year. Merry Christmas, to all who enjoy such things!

Matthew Currie
I actually didn't have much current today, but then I stopped by at Lake Bomoseen, and it seems the weather has had an interesting effect on the ice: D7100, 55-300DX

Matthew Currie
This is slate country, and in fact looking across the lake one can see a huge pile of discarded slate, overflowing into the lake, a reminder of a time before lake shore was priced by the inch. In the funky gray winter light, the ice could pass for slate itself.

ilkka_nissila
ilkka, please stop with the photos from the 200/2. I am struggling to resist, and it's not easy. I can say it's a pain to carry and handle because of the weight. I don't recommend it to people because of that. However, if one persists, the results can look fairly nice. I can post something else of course. But at the moment in the area I live it is dark, wet and not so photogenic outdoors.
