Glenn McCreery
I started by straightening the left side of the image using "warp" in CS5, then cloned a part the wall and painted it over the sign to remove it. I wanted a nightime image with the moon in the background, so I darkened the sky and then pasted one of my moon photos. I then selected one window and used "color replacement" to make it look like a light was on in the room. Finally, using levels, I darkened the image, except for the moon and the window and then flattened the image. michaellinder
Excellent choice for this week, GC! Initially, I used PSE15's straightening tool, keying on the sill of the large window along the right edge. Next, I adjusted tonalities by means of levels. Jumped to Color Efex & used its detail extractor filter. Then back to PSE15 - used the dodging tool to lighten the windows and select areas of the structure. Finally, after using the hue/saturation filter, I used the sponge tool for additional, selective saturation.
