Street conversation

I don't understand why the "Street Forum" has lost so much popularity. Its like the "No Words Forum" without the admonishment for double posting or slipping in a stray comment now and then.

You sort of answered your own question, first of all.

Secondly, in the past, many newbies to the Street threads were not made welcome -- snarky comments and such.

In my opinion: too many (totally unedited) posts. At one time there were at least one or two a day. Given the proportion of shooters who are street shooters, and post any of their shots on threads at all, this rapidly exhausts their stock of even half reasonable shots. Then you all you get are repeats or, basically, rejects. Quality not quantity is preferable IMO. The weekly Street thread where people actively try to post their best shot is better than 7 half-baked threads. Probably not what you wanted to hear!
