ray .
I downloaded Silver Efex Pro 2 (along with color efex pro, etc) from the Nik website and it seems to work well except for an odd thing that's happening. Tiffs are getting rectangular areas of the image blocked out black at certain projected enlargement sizes once saved in photoshop. If I increase or decrease screen size of the image they either appear or go away. It doesn't seem to have an effect on the final image as saved at a given size. I'm running Photoshop CS 4 Extended. When downloading I attached the Efex Pro 2 to Photoshop but the menu box gave Bridge as the alternative selection. I'm not clear if one is a better choice than the other. Anyone have an idea what might be causing the rectangular blocks of black to occur in the images? Should I remove the application and start over? Thanks in advance
c_watson1
CS4 dates from late 2008...Time for an update. Get Elements 14-15 or standalone Lightroom 6 and update it to 6:13 while you can. No issues with Nik plug-ins with those.
Spearhead
The Nik support pages say it is compatible with CS4 so that shouldn't be the issue. Have you tried reinstalling? Music and Portraits Blog: Life in Portugal
ray .
No, I can uninstall and try again later. Just wondering if I should attach it or have it open in Bridge instead of photoshop.
