As usual, up to 3 photos , 1000 pix max.

Let get this show on the road before the food pix flood us.

Last saturday i went to the open day at the High Field Magnatic Lab of the University of Nijmegen.

They do research with permanent magnetic fields there.

Lots of nice technical stuff.. but hard to photograph.

So first a little part of a laser they use to do measurements. It's the biggest laser in europe..

This is just a real small part of a room filling contraption.

Canon's first in-house digital SLR, the Canon EOS D30 (not to be confused with the 30D) of 2000.

What else would I use but a mirror lens for THE watertower?

at different ISOs-100% clips - not too shabby, I think, and still usable today.

Mark, the picture with the wide road and the mountain as a backdrop - where did you shoot that? I almost get vertigo looking at it. It's really nice

Hi TriggerHappy, that shot is in Colorado about 25 miles south of Denver Colorado USA. The road is Arapahoe heading West. That shot is heavily cropped. Here is less of a crop more road...the mountains are still about an hour drive away with traffic.
