In the mid 1970's I trekked the Tahoe-Yosemite Trail (Calif) with my Calumet 4x5 camera rig & a Husky V tripod. . lots of "gear" with the pack but the 100+ negatives were worth the effort (a month). During the film development, several negs went horribly wrong, with a blizzard of white spots, in addition to the "filth" of the trip (5 hangers & changing bag). It is only with the ability to spot/correct this mess thru negative scans with my editor that now a fantastic picture of the trip is now in my hands.

So keep those "hopeless" negatives & give them a new life with some re-work in your computer.

First pic is what a small section of the neg looked like prior to "rework". Bill251076947_4X5-425-001X.jpg.b537e54951e9d5f8ba4ac0d04bbbc3d1.jpg
