bob_bill
I just upgraded to both Lightroom classic and photoshop 2018. Lost Nik in photoshop. Downloaded again but it doesn't show up in photoshop 2018. I like to edit hot then pull back sliders in PS then go back to LR. Any suggestions what I need to do to get Nik in PS 2018 if that is possible?

Dieter Schaefer
I just copied the entire Nik collection folder from the 2017 CC version into the 2018 CC version's plugin folder and started CC 2018 - Nik collection appeared and is usable. Did the same thing with Topaz and On1. worked too. Windows Pro 10, 64-bit. No clue if this would work on a Mac too - shouldn't hurt to give it a try.
bob_bill
Windows OS. I'll try that Dieter. Comforting to know I can get it to work. Liked you comment on the 850 vs 810 + 500.
Trigger_Happy
Thank you Dieter! It works fine for me as well now. I am also on windows. Since I lost all of my printing presets in Lightroom during the last big update, it's a bit nerve-wrecking to update again. This time it went much smoother. Copy and paste the plugin folder from PS2017 and paste into the PS2018 folder, using the "merge" option.
Dieter Schaefer
Yes, it works on a Mac too. Good to know. Since I lost all of my printing presets in Lightroom during the last big update, it's a bit nerve-wrecking to update again. The same trick should work with the presets too (if they don't get transferred automatically as I think they should). I am not familiar with LR, but in PS they may not show up automatically after being copied and the program re-started but need to be loaded manually.
