kendunton Posted October 17, 2017 Share Posted October 17, 2017 I'm having problems uploading today, I get a pop up saying my upload is suspected of being spam or error messages. Tony Parsons Posted October 17, 2017 Share Posted October 17, 2017 Only thing I can think, at a cursory glance, is that they seem to be over the requested 1000 pixel limit on the longer side - might that have something to do with the problem ? Thanks, I'll try again and resize. I still have a double post! maybe admin can do something? ...and now I have to wait 283 seconds to post this reply. Considering I've just taken my daughter down to the train station and driven back, and haven't been on the forum for the last 20 minutes... What's going on? Nowadays we lack the will to accomodate such matters. i have problem sometimes in posting to No Words and get a server error. And sometimes I just give up on the exercise. If I back up my browser a few time I can usually get past the error message without having to wait for the clock to run down, but not always as I have made a dozen attempts to get this message posted and each time i get a longer wait time as hight as 450 seconds. I've logged out and logged back in shut down the browser, tried a different browser. This psot may never see the light of day because I have other more enjoyable ways to waste time. These error messages have nothing to do with the file I am trying to upload as all of them have been well under PN's limits. This is what many of us are trying to do when we receive the various error messages that have been reported for the last few months: upload photos to various forum threads. I thought you knew this because you've been involved in many of these discussions and threads. The error messages say things like "server error" or "you've reached your limit for the day" or "wait 163 seconds before uploading again" or some such other frustrating nonsense. It's been reported in the last couple of weeks in many different threads, by many new and old posters. On the plus side, for me at least, for the last few weeks, though I will get the error messages, trying a few times, sometimes having to relaunch my browser, does allow me to post. Others have reported similar luck with a few tries. On the minus side is that the problem persists and now you seem to be somehow unaware of it. 1 We didn't need dialogue. We had faces! Well, that didn't work, so I quit and relaunched a second time. Let's see what happens . . . Well, this is the worst it's been for me in weeks. Have tried dozens of times to post this and relaunched my browser three or four times. Last try before leaving PN for a few hours . . . This is what I was trying to say. And, Glenn, I'm not even trying to upload a photo. Just text! By the way, Ken, welcome. I've noticed your posts to No Words and glad you're here.
