It looks like you've got one of mine again.

Another weekly challenge.

 

If anyone else would like to post next week please give it a go, upload a High resolution jpeg. Just indicate by Wednesday next in this thread if you are willing to try.

 

Remember there are no rules you can do what you wish in your interpretation, but if you can give information of the steps taken and software used to add interest.

It is not meant as a competition just a bit of fun.

Converted to b/w, emphasis on red filter, local curves adjustments, cropped to a 6x4 format, added slight tint, lighting filter to create partial vignette effect.

 

LR for shadows, highlights and cropping. NIK software for tonal contrast filter.

Glad you posted this image, GC. I'll be away for a while, starting tomorrow.

All work done in PSE15. Used levels to increase shadow and darken midtones. Slightly increased warm tones using hue/saturation filter, hue value -5; then increased saturation to a value of 20. Last, used sponge tool partially to desaturate area on left side of fence and then burn tool to further darken the area.

I did some minor adjustments in ACR

Interesting locks. They look too narrow for a boat of substance.

I converted to black and white in NIK SilverEfex, cropped, cloned some clouds and added to blown out cloud areas, dodged upper hand rail and burned adjacent white areas.

I experimented with Dynamic Auto Painter, blended with the original in Photoshop, and cropped in Lightroom.

Basic adjustments in LR including removal of the most obvious electric cables. Opened in Silver Efex Pro 2 and applied a preset I recently created which is meant to give a Vintage Selenium effect (opinions would be welcome). Final curves adjustment in LR.
