What camera(s) are you using this weekend?

Recommended Posts

Today (Friday) my "new" Zorki -Jupiter8 & a Fed-2 with the Jupiter-12 (35mm wa) will cover the Port Susan Farmers Market. Sat & Sun I am going to gulp a brave pill & load a roll of Fuji 100 in the mentioned Fed & wonder about with the "new" lenses (35mm & 135mm Jupiter-11). . . Fall colors are here! Time permitting, another roll of the Kodak so2238 will be tested...perhaps even scanned!! Bill

I will finish up the roll of Kentmere 100 that I started in my Minolta XE. Currently attached is the Sigma 135mm f3.5 mini tele. Also have my 28mm Minolta MD Celtic in the bag too. My parents gave me this lens for Christmas in 1979. Still works and looks great after all these years.

@kendunton- that little 45mm f2.8 Tessar is a great lens. I don't use mine enough. I keep mine on a Yashica FX-3 Super 2000 to make a light, compact, battery independent package.

I had one that came with my original 139. For some reason I gave it away... The new owner enjoys it (he's on the mflenses forum) so c'est la vie!

I have bought a replacement!

If the weather holds, I'll be attending an airshow this weekend. I plan to pack light for a change and take only two or three cameras:

My only digital worth mentioning is a Sony NEX 7. For a lens, I'll pack a manual focus one. I''m leaning toward my Tokina AT-X 100-300mm f/4 SD (a great zoom, btw)

I want to take a 35mm camera. Probably my Nikon N80 with a Nikon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 ED lens.

And I'm thinking about taking my Pentax 67 with a couple of lenses -- a 300mm f/4 and a 45mm f/4.5.

Had plans to go to Flanders this weekend, visit the WW1 Dugout under the church at Zonnebeke that's been temporarily opened to the public (until the 10th of November).

But I appear to have a number of birthday parties I have to attend making the trip not worth it.

So I guess I'll have to find other stuff to do in the down time. Still, got half a roll of film in a PEN F and half a roll of film in a Leica IIIc. We'll see what comes in front of the lenses.

I am mending pretty well, so maybe before winter strikes I can try again with my two early digital cameras (I know, but these are based on film cameras, will that do?)

Kodak DCS 560 (1998) and Pro-SLR (2004)

The 560 came without the "IR" filter, so here is a picture taken with a R72 filter

Lots of megapixels and full frame, but very pricey originally.
